Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She is most famous for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also had the role of the title character in the movie Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speaker of the class in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent for her admission a second time because of her Nashville role. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played a prominent role in the Nashville series, in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples among the top performers under the age of twenty old in September 2014.
